Along with headshots, I keep busy shooting people from all walks for life! These sessions are always a blast because they are usually a little more involved and artistic.
If you saw the previous blog posting, I ended off with Charleene. These photos are from the second day of her shoot and focus on print work.

Everyone meet Chuck and David! We are not quite sure who the Puppet Master is.
However, we do know one thing, these two make a great team…at least when Chuck is not plotting something mischievous.

The next group of images are from my shoot with Vartan Poladian. He owns a home financing company and needed some serious business shots along with more casual ones for fun!
These two images were taken in the studio, but highlight the difference a change in attire can make.

Next we ventured on location to add some color to the images and a little more diversity!

Finally, we let loose and played! I’ve missed black and white images and since I was given permission to shoot as I please, well, I did.
Photographing clients for a ZED card can take an entire day because the process is so much more involved than headshots.
Not only are there full hair changes and full makeup changes, but the backgrounds also need to be different.
This particular photo session lasted almost ten hours but it was a lot of fun, since these sessions provide the opportunity for some very artistic people to collaborate.
To help her achieve the different looks below, Lauren Howard, a returning client, had a whole team of experts from a stylist to a makeup artist.

We took advantage of the range of locations in LA by driving to the hills, to the beach, and to an exotic wasteland!
I recently had the pleasure of photographing portraits of Miss Ursula Ann (her email name, but really she’s married to a long time loyal client Nick Pappas).
Ursula wanted her photos to represent the 50s style since she herself is enamored by the 1950s. The photos we took were part headshots and part to be used for a ZED card, you know, that thing people put together for print work or modeling.
These photos needed more than just natural light which is what I normally shoot on location for acting headshots.
To accomplish our goal, we rented a studio generously provided by a friend and played all day!
