Actor Headshots

Last month I shot a wide variety of clients, from new actors to more experienced ones!  Here are just a few examples from our latest sessions!

Rob Zabrecky was such a pleasure to work with.   His look reminded me of the very funny Steve Buscemi.

Magdalena Mielcarz is a model/actress and was a pro in front of the camera.  She knew exactly what she wanted to achieve in her photos and it wasn’t hard to capture her natural beauty! Feel free to check out some modeling shots we also took of Magdalena.

Janey Friend was fun and sassy!  She was incredibly versatile and portrays a fun girl next door in this shot.

Jonathan Moreno had a nice range too.  He easily transformed from an edgy bad boy to the lovable guy next door!

Sherry Klassen flew in all the way from Canada!  We’ve had a few clients fly in from Florida, Canada, Chicago etc., and it’s the biggest compliment we can get!

In the following head shots, Hans Hazz really shows off his range!  Here he is as the eager intern and then as the edgy boy next door.

And finally, Ashley Herman was fresh, sassy and so easy to work with.  Here she looks like she is keeping a secret behind those mischievous eyes!

The following clients really brought their A-game this month!   Some sessions were taken on cloudy days, rainy days and sun-shiny days.  Regardless of the weather or whatever wardrobe malfunctions or  hair issues that came up, my clients rose to the challenge and I’m really proud of them all!  Take a look at the following headshots taken just this past October.

Ursula Whittaker was amazingly versatile on the shoot.  She had a natural flair that came through in the following shots.

Larry Yaffe was such a pleasure to work with.  He was a natural as the lovable dad and this detective-like look reminded me  of the very funny Tony Shaloub as Monk.  Can you tell it was raining?

 

These next three girls all had such unique personalities.  Sheila Daley was a spunky and fun girl next door, while Treasure Mallory had a sexy bad girl quality that really came out in this shot.  One would never guess that the bubbly and fantastically fun, Madi Goff could pull off this edgy look so well!  She did!

Tom Krause was so much fun on the shoot!  His natural sense for comedy really made him loose and ready for any direction that was thrown his way.  He’s great as a funny co-worker or as a cool,  Silverlake hipster.

Mikael Ayele was so relaxed behind the lens.  He was willing to try anything and just have fun.  He had a really cute nerd look but also transformed well as a cool intern.  Taken on another one of our rainy days!

Michael Jimenez was a young man after my own heart.  He was such a gentleman and we were really able to capture this “good guy” essence.

Jennifer Lane Oakley had such an exotic and beautiful look.  Here she is as the sweet girl next door, yet there’s a mystery to her.

John Ainsworth was referred to us from his husband, Shawn Ryan who was a recent client.  They were both so amazing to work with!  Check out photos from Shawn’s shoot here.

Allie Pilmer is an example of a teen session. We really had fun on this shoot as she transformed into a edgy CW high school kid.  Meanwhile, Audrey Kearns displayed a lot of range during our shoot.  Here she really captures a comedic mom essence.

David Craze was too fun!  He was a natural who brought his A-game and gave off such a nice variety of looks as you can see here.

Alan Heitz is a returning client and friend who consistently discovers fresh looks every time we shoot!  Brian Flaherty was really sweet and down to earth and had real ease in front of the camera.

It’s almost time to trick or treat! For new headshots, perhaps?

These next few clients of mine weren’t scared of any monsters.  In fact, they brought their charm and quirkiness to each shoot and it definitely shows in the following headshots.

Here are some of those great moments.

Rachel Leah Cohen and Tricia Allen are an example of our “friend session”.  Their headshots were taken on the same shoot and they had such a fun banter back and forth during the session.  In these two pics, Rachel was a classic girl next door while Tricia was more of a no-nonsense mom.

These next three clients each captured such specific essences!  Dave Warden gave off a hilarious Dave Coulier vibe, while Viviane Ledesma’s quirky personality could easily land her on The Office.  The very sweet Kunal Kumar reminded me of the funny Dani Pudi from Community.

I had a great time working with these next two clients.  Alex Fiore’s expressions and great attitude really made the shoot a fun one.  Melissa Rosen was truly a natural with the camera and has such a cool, edgy feel in this pic.

Will Bowles is one of our returning clients this month.  The nicest guy ever and quite the chameleon.  He easily transformed from the edgy leading man to a lovable, young dad.  Always a pleasure to work with you Will!

Lastly, Terrell Ferguson.  Agent, actor, and all around bad boy, though in this photo he pulls off the nice guy with lots of charm.  Thanks for a good shoot Terrell!
